Call of Duty Black Ops: Comes Live to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Program

The catalog of Xbox 360 games playable on the Xbox One through backwards compatibility looks set to grow with the addition of Call of Duty: Black Op. After Microsoft confirmed Black Ops would join the lineup in November, Eurogamer has now spotted an image suggesting it is on the way soon.
The Xbox 360 home screen features key art from the first entry in the Black Ops series, along with a caption reading "Now Plays on Xbox One."
Microsoft first indicated Black Ops would be added to the catalogue in 2016, when it said it would introduce new games on a regular bases.
"You can expect new Xbox One backward compatible games to be announced on a regular basis, starting in December," Microsoft said in a statement. "More titles are on the way, including fan favorites like Halo Reach,Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite, and Skate 3."

In other backwards compatibility developments, Microsoft has announcedmulti-disc Xbox 360 games are now supported. The first multi-disc game added to the catalog was Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut.
2016's Call of Duty title is Infinite Warfare, which launches on November 4 forPlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Activision is also releasing a remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, but this will only be available as part of a premium version of Infinite Warfare; it will not be sold on its own.
