Forte Oil Debunked Viral Rumour That They Want To Start Selling Petrol for N115 - Management Releases Official Statement


Forte Oil Plc, a foremost indigenous major marketer of refined petroleum products with a strong presence in the thirty-six states of Nigeria and Abuja, has officially debunked a viral rumour.


Billionaire oil businessman, Femi Otedola's Forte Oil Plc, on Wednesday, refuted multiple reports making rounds online and on social media that it reduced its pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (Petrol) to N115 per litre.

In a statement released by Nigeria’s foremost indigenous major marketer of refined petroleum products, Forte Oil via its Twitter handle @ForteOilNg, the firm said:

"Our attention has been drawn to a reduction in price to 115 NGN at our gas stations, This is false. Forte Oil Plc would use its official handles to inform its customers and the buying public of any price change. We therefore inform our customers and the buying public to ignore these false rumours as they are untrue and we disassociate ourselves from same."
