Big congratulations to Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala, who has won her first trophy with her club -Arsenal Ladies after playing a major role in defeating Chelsea 1-0 to win the Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday.

Danielle Carter’s first half curler was all that Arsenal needed to claim a record 14th FA Cup title in a game watched by 32,000 cheering fans at Wembley.

Arsenal Ladies almost scored in the first minute as Oshoala’s pass found Carter but her effort fell on top of the roof of the net...The Nigerian was soon in the thick of things as she wriggled past three Chelsea defenders but scuffed her shot.

The victory saw the Gunners win a record 14th English women FA Cup title and ensured Oshoala lifted her first silverware in England two months after she dumped Liverpool Ladies.
