Oshiomhole Blames Edo Recent APC Crisis On Fifth Columnists
The Governor of Edo State in south-south Nigeria, Adams Oshiomhole, has blamed the differences in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state on “some fifth columnists who left the opposition Peoples Democratic Party but do not wish the APC well”.
Governor Oshiomhole made the claim on Friday when members of the fact-finding and reconciliation committee of the APC for Edo State visited him.
The group was led by Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
At a meeting held at the Government House, in Benin City, the capital of Edo State, Governor Oshiomhole accused the national leadership of the party of not doing enough to tackle the crisis.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the APC fact-finding and reconciliation team, said they were in the state with a specific mandate ‘to bring the great APC family in Edo State together once again’.
